Resistance 2 will feature 8-player, story-driven online co-op separate from the regular single-player campaign, 60-player online PvP (Heavy, Special Ops, Medic classes) and more vehicles, including The Chameleon, a Stalker with full cloak.

After Team Ninja's Tomonobu Itagaki resigned, and revealed he was filing a lawsuit against Tecmo for outstanding payments, rumors started flying that dozens of additional employees left and similarly filed suit. Tecmo issued a statement saying the rumors are false and, that it only two employees, while it is currently in the process of resolving outstanding compensations to its staff.

Chip Ganassi Racing has partnered with Activision and Target to feature Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, on Dario Franchitti’s No. 40 Dodge in the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Activision's Vigilante 8: Arcade, developed by Isopod Labs, is a remake of the original game, featuring online play with up to eight players and a host of new content, taking full advantage of next-generation technologies.

Back in April GreenScreen Interactive acquired Destination Software and ZOO Digital Publishing, only to be acquired by Mandalay Media, which had recently merged with Twistbox Entertainment and was looking to acquire various types of companies in digital distribution, interactive entertainment, and online digital media and publishing. Well as it turns out the two companies did not come to a final merger agreement, and the acquisition has been terminated.
