Revealed a few weeks ago, the Blitzkrieg 2: Liberation add-on is set near the end of the WW2 and will add two new Western Front campaigns set in Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, and will of course include plenty of new units, maps, and game modes.

A few days ago gossip magazine The Inquirer claimed that it had received information regarding the upcoming DirectX10.1 update not being compatible with current DX10 hardware. Microsoft's DirectX lead program manager Sam Glassenberg debunked that rumor as false, and confirmed that all DirectX10 enabled cards will work fine with the minor DX10.1 update, it may just be that the new features are not incorporated.
