According to a lawsuit filed with the LA Superior Court, son of The Godfather author Mario Puzo sued Paramount Pictures for $1 million in damages for breach of contract over unpaid revenue from EA's video game adaptation of the movie trilogy, based on Puzo's book. In 1992 Paramount signed a deal with Puzo to pay revenue of any audio-visual products with elements of The Godfather movies, which it has not received since EA licensed the material in 2006.
