The Los Angeles Film School has added two degree offerings, an Associate of Science Degree in Game Development and an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Animation, each set to begin in September 2008.

Ninja Gaiden 2 has players once again assuming the role of Ryu Hayabusa as they guide the ninja hero on a quest to avenge his clan and prevent the destruction of the human race. At Microsoft's SF event earlier this week, Team Ninja's Tomonobu Itagaki revealed this will be the last title in the franchise, saying that NG II is the "definitive 3-D game in this series," and expressed interest to work with a U.S. developer on a title set in the Pacific Theater.

Lost Planet: Colonies adds an 11 mission campaign, Score Attack and Time Trial Battle Mode, four new multiplayer maps, four new playable characters, 10 new weapons and no less than seven new game modes, such as Akrid Hunting and Akrid Egg.

In Cabela’s Legendary Adventures players will hunt in different eras in search of trophies such as white-tailed deer, Yukon moose, Alaskan brown bear and Roosevelt elk in over ten of North America’s top hunting locations, including Kodiak Island, the Yukon and the Rocky Mountains.

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is Namco Bandai's next title in the DBZ franchise. Burst Limit will be similar to the DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi series (published by Atari in Europe and North America) and have online multiplayer, be cut-scene driven and support 16/9.
