Ubisoft & 1C Teams Up For 'The Battle of Britain' - Screens

Ubisoft revealed plans today to expand its line of flight Sims through a partnership with 1C: Maddox Games. The publishing deal includes the announcement of The Battle of Britain, a brand new World War II flight simulation game, which is expected to build on the enormous success of the IL-2 Sturmovik franchise. Ubisoft also plans to publish an expansion pack for IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles that will let owners of Forgotten Battles take to the skies again, to engage in more World War II dogfights alone or with players around the world via the internet.

THQ today announced that Scooby-Doo! Two: Monsters Unleashed, based on the Warner Bros. Studios feature film of the same name, is in development for Game Boy Advance and PC. Scooby-Doo! Two: Monsters Unleashed is scheduled to ship in early 2004, in conjunction with the film's theatrical release.

Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing division of Take-Two Interactive Software announced today that Max Payne 2:The Fall of Max Payne for PC has officially gone gold and is currently in manufacturing. Developed by Remedy Entertainment, the sequel to the original film-noir action thriller, Max Payne, will be in stores in North America on October 15, 2003 and in Europe on October 24, 2003.

Nokia N-Gage Mobile Game Deck Invades North America

Flash mobs were seen yesterday in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, and a mysterious N-Gage crop circle was discovered in Minnesota. Gamers also took to the street to perform street art and leave reminders that the N-Gage game deck would take gaming to the next level.
