The demo version of 1893: A World's Fair Mystery is now available for download. In it, you can begin the adventure, read a little background material, explore one of the exposition buildings, and interact with some other characters. In addition, tutorial information is embedded in the demo to help introduce players to Interactive Fiction, and explains how to use many of the basic commands.

The next age in the upcoming game, Myst III: Exile for PS2 and Xbox -- Edanna the Nature Age. Edanna is a fantastic, living edifice that rises some 200 feet above the ocean. This nature-infused Age is a tree-like structure, that grows inward. Knotted, sun-bleached branches weave a labyrinth down the trunk's interior, creating three distinct ecosystems: the dry Deadwood Ridge, the lush canopied forest and the murky saltwater swamp. To find Edanna's unique symbol, players must discover how various plants and animals in the Age react to different stimuli.

Today we have some screens from the next Age in the upcoming game, Myst III: Exile for Xbox and PS2 -- the "Amateria Cavern." Each Age in Myst III: Exile was designed by a different designer, so the Ages all have a very distinctive look and feel. Amateria has a very oriental feel with extensive basalt columns, Japanese architecture, and glowing crystal formations.

Following is the next Age in the Myst III: Exile series, J'nanin "The Lesson Age." J'nanin is the hub Age in Myst III: Exile, players will link to other Ages from here. The Xbox's vibrating, force feedback controller has improved linking to be more similar to the disorienting effect Cyan always intended. Presto Studios went to great efforts to blur the line between a real-time and prerendered game (i.e. the water's ripple effect). Check the impressive XBOX and PS2 screens!

Koei is working on a Nintendo Gamecube game called "Mystic Heroes". Not much info on it at this time. Developed for Gamecube only and no specific release date as of yet ... at least we got some screens ;)
