The latest issue of PCGamer has the first details on the yet un-announced Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremecy addon. Mad Doc Software's first addon for its 3D RTS is scheduled for release in spring 2006 and will feature 15 new civilizations, 15 missions spread over 3 campaigns, the ability to make your own civilization with the new civilization editor, and plenty of other new additions. Now that the cat is out of the bag, we can expect an official announcement soon.

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that the real-time strategy game Empire Earth II has shipped to retail stores in the US and will be available for purchase by Thursday, April 28th. The game carries a suggested retail price of $49.99 for the PC and has been rated "T" for Teen audiences by the ESRB.

VUGames dropped us a note to inform Empire Earth II fans out there that a multiplayer demo will be released Monday April 4th. The demo will offer three of the game's fifteen epochs (Renaissance, Imperial, and Enlightenment), and three of the game's nine multiplayer modes (Conquest, King of the Hill, and Territory Control), playable for up to 10 players. The demo will also include the previously released singleplayer contentbut with updated content, new features, and the ability to set variables such as: game pace, starting resources, population cap, diplomatic settings, and weather & environment details before the game starts. Of course we will have the demo available on our fileserver network the minute its released.
