Serious Sam is a high-adrenaline arcade-action shooter heavily focused on frantic arcade-style single player action. Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric revealed that a PS3 version was put on hold due to limited funds, but that technically they could make the game on PS3 as well, if there was enough interest.

As SOE celebrates the 10th year of EverQuest, it announced two new expansions: EverQuest Underfoot (16th expansion, adding a new underground zone, Nov. 2090) and EverQuest II Sentinel’s Fate (Feb. 2010, increases level cap to 90, so you can play lower level areas with a high level character and get easy experience, integration of various achievements). With Activision's Guitar Hero being a phenomenon, EA's Rock Band going strong, and the branching out of the franchises (DJ Hero, latest Tony Hawk), it is only normal that other publishers/developers are jumping on the bandwagon. THQ chief executive Brian Farrell
revealed that they are also working on a peripheral-based game, saying it's "different from anything else out there and will give us a competitive advantage," although whether or not it's a music-based game was not mentioned.
