In late 2003, Ubisoft released its critically acclaimed action/adventure Beyond Good & Evil, but unfortunately that did not translate into sales numbers, and the franchise was abandoned. Since the
UbiDays 08 teaser, not much has been said, but in
a recent interview, Ubisoft's Michel Ancel revealed that BG&E was hampered by technical limitations, so it was simplified. For the sequel, however, Ancel says current-gen consoles will allow the developers to make the game more complex and immersive.
