Global Star Software has Gone Gold with King Sol Solitaire

by Patrick on Dec. 19, 2001 @ 6:16 p.m. PST

Global Star Software has announced has it has gone gold with their most recent project, King Sol Solitaire. This collection of over 400 solitaire games for Windows will be shipping to stores across North America during the first week of January 2002, and will hit stores later that same month.

Developed by Rapture Entertainment, King Sol Solitaire will be the most comprehensive collection of solo card games ever assembled. It will feature all the time-tested classics that have made solitaire card games so popular for the PC, as well as hundreds of lesser-known, yet equally enjoyable games.

Features will include customizable backgrounds, cards, card sizes and skins, a comprehensive statistical system that keeps track of multiple users, over 2 billion shuffle combinations, multi-deck options, adjustable rules, unlimited undo/redo functions and more.

With King Sol Solitaire, Global Star continues to offer playable games for the entire family, and even the most casual of PC users. With this considered, King Sol Solitaire will include detailed in-game tutorials to teach not only the rules to each card game, but also the game interface itself.
Also, King Sol is rated "E for Everyone" by the ESRB, and with a suggested price of only $19.99, Global Star takes the risk out of buying new software for the economically minded consumer.
