THQ’S SCOOBY-DOO! NIGHT OF 100 FRIGHTS TO DEBUT THIS SUMMER

“THQ has captured the campy humor of the cartoon series and combined it with stunning graphics and gameplay to satisfy a more sophisticated gaming audience,” said Michael Rubinelli, vice president, product development, THQ. “Fans of the classic Scooby-Doo cartoons and gamers alike will appreciate the vast environments and cool effects that truly bring the cartoon to life on the next generation systems.”

Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights combines the classic Scooby-Doo cartoon characters, including Fred, Daphne, Velma Shaggy, and of course, Scooby, and classic villains in captivating gameplay. Only Scooby-Doo can save his friends when the dubious Mastermind captures the Mystery, Inc. gang as part of a sinister plan. Utilizing the missing professor’s inventions, Scooby-Doo escapes mysterious monsters while searching for clues in more than 12 huge levels, including a creepy mansion, a spooky cave and a ghostly graveyard. Through it all, Scooby still has time to pick up Scooby Snacks™ and a host of other wacky power-ups to eventually foil the Mastermind’s evil plans.

Scooby-Doo was created by animation legends William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, and Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? is one of the longest-running animated series in television history. The series is one of Cartoon Network’s top rated shows, and is also currently airing on the Kids WB!. Scooby-Doo was also recently voted kids favorite cartoon character on the Cartoon Network.
