Gamers can now catch big air off jumps and shred down mountains all around the world with the release of Snowboard Park Tycoon from Activision Value, a division of Activision Publishing, Inc. Players experience the exhilarating rush of creating the world's biggest half-pipe and flying through the air while keeping an eye out for the other snowboarders who may become obstacles in their path. Snowboard Park Tycoon is available in retail stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $19.99 and has been rated "E" for everyone by the ESRB.

"Snowboard Park Tycoon takes off where the highly successful Ski Resort Tycoon series leaves off and focuses on the hottest consumer trends on the slopes," stated Danny Hammett, President, Activision Value, Inc. "From the Olympics to backyards all over `snow country,' Snowboarding is the wave of the future. So whether the player is testing the snow or learning how to manage their investment, gamers will be challenged to develop their park into the most radical Snowboard facility around. We have brought the snowboarding world what they have been waiting for!" concluded Mr. Hammett.

Snowboard Park Tycoon challenges players to create a one of a kind resort where skiers are not allowed. Gamers have the ability to design, and execute the world's largest snowboard competitions by placing and sculpting jumps, bumps, rails & turns throughout the course.

Players begin Snowboard Park Tycoon with several challenges laid out that will teach them the basics of how to get down the mountain. As the user begins to compete with other snowboarders in the park, they will begin to progress through several unique locations containing various types of competitions. Depending upon how well the snowboarders rate the park, and enjoy the course at the end of the competition, the player will be able to continue on their quest to jump higher and further than ever before.

Additionally, Snowboard Park Tycoon enables players to watch instant replays of their coolest jumps, or throw snowballs at the kids standing along sides of the run. As the game progresses, gamers also unlock additional rail slides and other characters that will shred down the course faster and faster.
