THQ To Publish 'Jet Grind Radio' For GBA

THQ Inc. and SEGA Corporation today announced that THQ will publish "Jet Grind Radio" for the Game Boy Advance. Scheduled to ship in Spring 2003, "Jet Grind Radio" is part of THQ's and SEGA's multi-title exclusive publishing agreement.

The hip-hop Dreamcast® hit makes its way to the Game Boy® Advance. "Jet Grind Radio" returns in true 3D, blasting through exciting and diverse levels with a complex AI engine that brings huge game levels, spanning over five different city environments, alive. The game features over 10 playable characters each with their own style, personality, and abilities. As Professor K scratches hip-hop and techno beats, players can explore multiple game modes including one-on-one races, freestyle skating for points, timed tagging sessions and the single player mission based mode. Multiplayer modes allow for up to four players to challenge each other in five styles of play:


Out Tag: Players race against the clock to out spray the competition before time expires.

Turf Wars: Friends team up to control the most turf.

Jet: Players race in a dash to the finish line.

Throw down: Players go one-on-one to out tag each other.

Tricky: Players earn points with massive grinds and crazy tricks.
