Car Tycoon is a business strategy game, taking place in the last half of the 20th Century. The player develops, designs, produces, distributes and markets his automobiles. The goal is to become the market leader and trendsetter with a company that spans diverse fields of automobile production including sports cars, limousines and pick-up trucks.

Players move around on a vast map with cities, rural areas, vehicles and humans acting independently. The quality graphics and detail shows the transportation of raw materials and cars, repairs in workshops, garage servicing, car purchasing and much more, so players can get instant feedback on the effects of their actions.

Car Tycoon allows players to either choose existing models, according to their own taste and whims, or develop their own models including convertibles and sports coupes.
