NewKidCo International E3 Lineup

Leading children’s video game publisher, NewKidCo International Inc. announced today it’s thrilling lineup for this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. The company will unveil next generation games from their impressive catalog of licensees based on well-known licensed properties including Dora the Explorer, Dr. Seuss, Tom and Jerry, Little League Baseball and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
“We are excited to bring this incredible cast of characters to life in new interactive adventures,” said Henry Kaplan, CEO of NewKidCo. “We have fully utilized the capabilities of the leading next generation platforms to develop some of our most entertaining titles to date.”

The NewKidCo booth is located at 2200 West Hall and will showcase the following titles at E3:

Title: Tom and Jerry in War of the Whiskers

Scheduled release date: June 2002 Genre: Fighting
Platform: PlayStation 2 ESRB Rating: T for Teen
Key Features:
· The PS2’s first “all ages brawler” and only PS2 game available featuring Tom and Jerry
· Eleven unique (interactive & destructible) environments/worlds (i.e.: western world, cruise ship, medieval castle, junkyard, ski chalet, etc.)
· Play as any of nine different “classic” Tom and Jerry cartoon characters (i.e.: Tom, Jerry, Butch, Tyke, Spike, Tuffy, Duckling, Lion and Eagle)
· Play as two new, enemy characters - Robot cat and Monster Jerry

Title: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial:: Return To The Green Planet

· First PS2 game to feature E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

· It’s a race against time as E.T. collects plants from all over the galaxy,
cross-pollinating them in an attempt to grow a new flower (Dragora) that generates live-giving energies
· Players are granted amazing extra-terrestrial powers and the help of a friendly space bee

Title: Dora the Explorer: The Hunt for Pirate Pig’s Treasure

Key Features:
· Game features English and Spanish words as part of the gameplay sound interface
· Easy to use controls, in support of young target market
· Exciting animation and humorous “rewards” provided when the player successfully completes a task
· Simple, yet challenging puzzles and action/adventure gameplay
· A strong license for both young boys and girls, this game features all of the “key” Dora characters (i.e.: Dora, Boots, Map, Backpack, Swiper the Fox, Tico, Benny and the Fiesta Trio)

· Features 10 international Little League fields
· Four levels of gameplay, including: T-Ball, Minor League, Major League and

Title: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: Venrom’s Assault

Key Features:
· Four large, challenging environments including the Green Planet, Venrom’s transport ship, the surface of the planet Saleria and Venrom’s Lair
· Many new powers are demonstrated by E.T. such as levitation, a telekinetic hold, telepathic persuasion, the heart stun beam and the ability to teleport enemies to different locations
· Some of the levels in the game are played in “real time” and if E.T. can’t complete a challenge before time expires, he fails in his mission
· Players are introduced to an array of helpful new characters that become allies to E.T. including the Rat Rock, the Ephmati, the Bornestich, Plasma Man, Tournesol and Scurram

Title: Tom & Jerry in Infurnal Escape

Key Features:
· 15 levels featuring Tom in a starring role for the first time against overpowering foes
· Tom has 9 lives (obviously), however a reprieve from MephiSpikeles could allow him to gain back some or all of these lives
· Unique never-before-seen special powers and moves
· Features five environments: Underworld, Mansion, Circus, ‘Mousketeer’ Level, Boot Camp each with three levels
· Highly detailed backgrounds rendered directly from the “classic” era toons that exist on four separate levels, which allows for in-depth gameplay and interaction

Title: U.S. Youth Soccer: Power-Up Soccer

Key Features:
· Features nine different teams
· Features four unique fields including the typical grass soccer field, a muddy dirt field (in the rain), a magnetic field an outer space filed located on an orbiting space station and three levels of difficulty

· Includes five “arcade-style power-ups” that add another level of fun and excitement including a cyclone kick, bicycle kick, hammer, speed and energy

Title: Muppet Pinball Mayhem

Key Features:
· Play as one of multiple Muppet characters, including Miss Piggy, Kermit, Gonzo and Animal, each with unique play characteristics
