CRAVE ENTERTAINMENT TO DEVELOP ED, EDD n EDDY GAME
Game Boy AdvanceĆ¢ Game Features Cartoon Network's Popular Animated Characters
"We welcome the opportunity to work with the teams at Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Consumer Products on developing a game that captures the fun-loving spirit of Ed, Edd n Eddy," said Ron Scott, President, of Crave Entertainment. "The zany adventures of these three madcap characters will be perfect material for an engaging interactive game."
"We are excited to bring Ed, Edd and Eddy to the interactive world through our partnership with Crave," said Jamie Porges, Vice President of Cartoon Network. "An interactive game is a natural extension of the show that should be well received by Ed, Edd n Eddy fans and the cul-de-sac set."
The game will mirror Ed, Edd and Eddy's television quest to make money to buy delicious jawbreakers. The object of the game is to help these resourceful adolescents win a contest whose grand prize is, of course, a lifetime supply of jawbreakers! Throughout the game, Ed, Edd and Eddy will tap into their unique brand of resourcefulness as they earn money, solve physical puzzles, interact with their pals from the cul-de-sac and find hidden goodies. The players will control one Ed at a time, each with his own unique strength and weakness, and may dynamically cycle through the three main characters. Players will explore 12 levels, each offering a short animated cut-scene at the beginning and end.
Ed, Edd n Eddy, an original, half-hour series on Cartoon Network, tells the story of three best friends who live on the same cul-de-sac in the suburbs. Though they share the same first name, the three boys' personalities are as different as they are ridiculous. Bolstered by the power of adolescent ignorance, they plunge headlong into outlandish summertime adventures that would be unbelievable if they weren't so close to the reality of every kid's life.

The Eds are driven by their constant quest for money, which they plan to spend on life's finer things, like jawbreakers. Their schemes are familiar childhood ventures with an oddball twist and an optimistic profit margin, including a pet beauty salon, a neighborhood pin-up calendar and an exclusive clubhouse dubbed "Club Ed."
