PC gamers get ready to catch big air on the international scene when Activision Value's "Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003" hits North American retail shelves. The second edition of the hit title "Skateboard Park Tycoon" lets players travel around the globe grinding handrails in different time zones, as well as building, managing and masterminding their own skate parks for fun and profit. In "Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003," players ollie, grind and trick their way through their own custom parks either alone or with friends. The game is currently available for the PC in stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $19.99 and carries an "E" (Everyone -- content suitable for persons ages 6 and older) rating from the ESRB.

"`Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003' builds off the popularity of the best-selling tycoon series, which lets players control every aspect of running a business right from their keyboard," said Danny Hammett, President of Activision Value Publishing. "Players must use their intellect and creativity to finance and build their parks, keep their customers happy and troubleshoot any problems that arise -- all while staying on budget. `Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003' brings it all together for both tycoon players and skaters in one great game!"

"Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003" lets gamers bring the adrenaline home by allowing them to compete for the title "King of the Half Pipe." Additionally, players build a virtual enterprise by sculpting their own courses in full 3-D and optimizing them with the right mix of ramps, funboxes, jumps, half-pipes and concession stands. Once players have built their park, they can view the entire operation through the eyes of one of their patrons, as well as track their nationwide conglomerate, unlocking new venues, cities and challenges as they go. In the game, players compete against a wide array of other skaters in seven competition modes.
