Following on from the success of the acclaimed Xbox version Radica UK Ltd, the UK's number 1 third party manufacturer of peripherals* under the highly rated Gamester brand has announced the UK launch of their PS2 Pro Racer. Designed and developed in house by a team of leading designers and in conjunction with Lotus Engineering the Pro Racer provides a cost effective, hassle free experience for all PS2 racing and driving games.

"Our partnership with Group Lotus PLC is moving from strength to strength as we continue to produce exciting and unique products under the licence" commented John Doughty, Managing Director of Radica U.K. Ltd. " We have worked closely with their engineers to create a completely innovative product. The Xbox Pro racer has received superb response from both the specialist press and consumers and we are confident that the PS2 version will repeat this success."

Released in the UK in September at an SRP of £19.99, the Pro Racer is a handheld racing wheel. Features include fully analogue controls, rubberised grips and 2 strong Dual Force motors. By gripping the right hand side and sliding the left gamers can experience the incredibly lifelike gameplay normally associated with more expensive full size steering wheels.
