Consumer Products and a commitment to deliver compelling product surrounding theatrical releases as well as the classic television series."
"We are excited to release Scooby Doo! Two: Monsters Unleashed with the movie, so film and classic Scooby Doo! fans can get another excellent interactive experience," said Philippe Erwin, Vice President, Interactive Entertainment for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. "The PC and Game Boy Advance games from THQ deliver a great gaming complement to the movie with the same engaging storyline featuring the beloved Scooby-Doo! characters."
Scooby-Doo! Two: Monsters Unleashed for Game Boy Advance and PC is based on the Warner Bros. Pictures sequel to 2002's Scooby Doo: The Movie and features all the familiar characters of Mystery, Inc. -- Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and of course, Scooby-Doo. The storyline of Scooby-Doo! Two: Monsters Unleashed for Game Boy Advance and PC matches the movie plot, with characteristic Scooby humor and varied game play. Mystery, Inc. has donated all the costumes they've collected while unmasking monsters to the Coolsville Criminology Museum. At the exhibition's grand opening, the Pterodactyl Ghost costume "comes alive," breaks out, smashes open the other display cases, collects most of the costumes, and escapes -- vowing revenge upon the members of Mystery, Inc. On the Game Boy Advance, players control Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and Daphne throughout five worlds, each with four levels, to meet and defeat creepy monsters and ghosts, capture the Pterodactyl Ghost, and solve the mystery of who is under the costume. As a reward for completing the game, the players can re-play all of the mini games and fight enemy bosses individually in special battles. The PC version features locations and characters from the movie, and a series of 16 re-playable mini-games that can be played in order (Story Mode) or as the player wishes (Arcade Mode).
