"QuakeCon attendees will be the first gamers in the world to experience the intensity of DOOM 3 multiplayer on NVIDIA's unbelievably-fast GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. We expect they will be blown away."
In addition to providing the purse for the championship gaming tournaments, the Company will also be hosting a series of activities, including:

"QuakeCon is a showcase of the newest technologies as much as it's a gaming tournament," said Dan Vivoli, executive vice president of marketing at NVIDIA. "This year's event is one of the most exciting in QuakeCon history. QuakeCon will be held at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Dallas, Texas from August 14-17, 2003. For more information about NVIDIA at QuakeCon, or to sign-up for the NVIDIA Overclocking/Mod contest, log onto www.nvidia.com/nzone.
About QuakeCon
QuakeCon began in 1996 as a LAN party dedicated to fans of id Software's games, and has grown to include QUAKE®, QUAKE II(TM), QUAKE III Arena, QUAKE III: Team Arena(TM) and Return to Castle Wolfenstein(TM). It was created by gamers to commune with online friends in real life, meet the makers of the games they crave, talk shop with industry veterans and compete with the best players in the world. QuakeCon enjoys continued success, growing from a small gathering of 150 players in 1996 to more than 3,250 in 2002.
