'Budokai 2' (NGC) Has Gone Gold

Budokai 2 now comes to the Nintendo GameCube with all-new features and invites players to recreate the most epic battles from the DBZ animated series.

Gamecube Exclusive Features :

  • New Secret Stages - Islands, City Streets, Great Kai Planet and World Tournament, all with Twilight Sunset Versions
  • Game Difficulty increased even further with "Z" and "Z2" levels!

New skills added

  • "Sparking" - Increases the amount of zenie won at the World Tournament Mode
  • World Tournament Cell Game Rule
  • All skills now available at the WT (e.g. Fusion, Potara etc)
  • "World's Mightiest Warrior Certificate" - Receive a certificate if you clear the World Tournament at Z2 difficulty level

New additions (Spoilers)

  • Unlockable "secret" Piccolo with cape
  • Unlockable "secret" Goku with battle damage uniform
  • Handicap Gauge added in Duel Mode so players can select the number of life bars for each character
  • High Score now displayed in Babidi's ship

Gameplay:

  • Flex and blast through eye-popping battles in single player "Dragon Mode"
  • Lethal DBZ heroes and villains, including Buu in three forms
  • Highly detailed cel-shaded graphics
  • Import saved game data, including customized characters and unlockable features from the first Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

  • Even more explosive "Ki" energy attacks
  • GameCube version has more new features than the chart-busting PS2 version
  • More key characters, improved fighting action, and an open-ended way to relive DBZ
