While earlier this week Capcom officially announced that its survival horror game Resident Evil 4 will be released on PS2 and Gamecube, rumors have it that an Xbox version might be in the works for a simultaneous release with the aforementioned PS2 version. At the Golden Joystick Awards earlier this week, unconfirmed sources claimed that it was indeed coming in "less than a year's time." I'll be picking that one up if its true, no question about it ...

In Resident Evil 4, players rejoin Leon, who is now a U.S. agent with a top-secret mission. He has been tasked to look into the abduction of the President's daughter, and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe.
