Step into the boots of a U.S. Marine and drive the Imperial Japanese Army from the Pacific in Medal of Honor Pacific Assault.

"EA's Medal Of Honor fans have embraced the series as a benchmark for first-person war shooters. With Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, we have made some big improvements on our proven formula. From a new setting to updated technology, new gameplay features and new multiplayer modes-this title promises to be the most advanced Medal of Honor game yet," explains Executive Producer Rick Giolito. "The combination of intense run-and-gun combat set within the authentic atmosphere of the Pacific Theater, makes Medal of Honor Pacific Assault an entertainment experience tailor-made for action fans."

Developed at EA Los Angeles (EALA), Medal of Honor Pacific Assault gives players a sense of the courage it took to fight the Imperial Japanese Army from the shock of Pearl Harbor to triumph on the shores of the Tarawa Atoll. Set in the Pacific Theatre of Operations from 1941-1943, players will assume the role of Marine recruit Tommy Conlin as he survives the attack on Pearl Harbor, leads the assault on Guadalcanal and finally charges up the beaches for the climactic battle at Tarawa. Relying on natural instincts and a variety of authentic weapons, it's up to the player to stop the Japanese war machine in its tracks.

As with the previous Medal of Honor titles, the producers of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault sought counsel from numerous outside expert sources to make certain the game is as historically authentic and realistic as possible. EALA continues to work closely with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to ensure Medal of Honor Pacific Assault reflects the ideals and integrity of the prestigious Medal of Honor. In addition, Capt. Dale Dye, who served as military technical advisor on the previous titles in the Medal of Honor franchise, continues his efforts with the Medal of Honor Pacific Assault development team to ensure the authenticity of the game.

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is rated "T" (Teen) with descriptors of Blood, Language, Violence by the ESRB and is available under the EA
GAMES(tm) brand with a US MSRP of $49.99. The Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Director's Edition which includes an arsenal of bonus features on PC-DVD will appeal to a wide variety of game fans and has a US MSRP of $59.99.
