About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

Bid For A Role In The 'Stargate SG-1: The Alliance' (PS2/Xbox/PC) Game

by Judy on Dec. 23, 2004 @ 2:27 a.m. PST

Stargate SG-1: The Alliance will be an action-based game playable in the first- or third- person perspective. Depending on the mission, there will be other tasks that have elements of team tactics, puzzle-solving and stealth. First and foremost, you will never walk alone – your team will be there to look after you, but you will also have to look after them, so it differs from most "straight" shooters.

The winner of the auction will get the opportunity to have his virtual double become part of the “Stargate SG-1: The Alliance” video game, which is scheduled for late 2005. The winner will have his likeness integrated into the game as one of the supporting cast – and appear on screens all over the world! This is an outstanding opportunity for Stargate fans around the world to see themselves immortalized on the screen!

However this is not an auction to raise profit: the proceedings from this auction will be donated entirely to a Child Cancer Relief foundation! JoWooD hopes that this will raise the awareness of fans worldwide who may want to further contribute donations to other charity organizations in the spirit of Christmas giving.

Enter the world of your dreams with the “Stargate SG-1: The Alliance” video game and contribute to a good cause at the same time!
