About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

by Judy on Sept. 16, 2004 @ 8:21 a.m. PDT

Set during the "New Generation" era of Robotech, Invasion is a first-person shooter that features transforming Cyclone motorbikes and Invid alien fighters. Other features include progressive scan support, widescreen mode, and 16-person online play.

In the 21st century, humankind was freed from the confines of the solar system through the discovery of an alien technology known as Robotech. But contact with the stars also brought war with the Invid, a race of parasitic aliens bent on conquering and transforming the Earth into their new homeworld. Now it is up to the battle-hardened survivors of the Robotech Expeditionary Force to lead the way for one final attempt to liberate the Earth from the Invid Invaders!
