If you have been experiencing problems with the World Of Warcraft beta test, you now know why. The datacenter in Virginia, which hosts the servers, has been hit damaged by a tornado. Because water leaked into the building the servers were shut down as a precautionary measure, some hardware had taken on water, and a full inspection will take 48 hours or longer to complete. We encourage you to enjoy the rest of your weekend with other activities, as the World of Warcraft beta test will remain offline for at least that long.

About Judy
As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.
