About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

by Judy on Feb. 11, 2005 @ 1:29 p.m. PST

"Sagas" is the first cross-platform Dragon Ball Z game to launch simultaneously, the first Dragon Ball Z action/adventure game for console, the first Dragon Ball Z game for the Xbox, and the first Dragon Ball game to offer cooperative story mode play.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas is the first-ever Dragon Ball Z action game and the first-ever Dragon Ball game on Xbox. Developed by Avalanche, the developers of the hit game Tak and the Power of JuJu, Sagas gives players the superhero abilities they’ll need to complete the most exciting missions of the first-half of the animated series, from the Saiyan Saga through the Cell Games. Players will explore authentic DBZ environments, upgrade their characters’ skills and faithfully replicate the most intense action from the show. The game also includes multiple gameplay modes, such as Single Player Adventure and two-player co-op.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas gives seasoned fans and newcomers alike a thrilling glimpse into the world of DBZ. Coinciding with FUNimation’s re-release of the first 65 episodes of Dragon Ball Z on home video, Sagas will invite players to experience the quests, powers, and “boss” enemies of some of the most action-packed parts the DBZ animated series.

  • Discover never-before-seen elements of the DBZ series;
