Dutch magazine Sen Gamer claims to have received confirmation from its former editor in chief, who now works for EA, that C&C: Red Alert 2 is headed for Nintendo's handheld. While there is absolutely no confirmation of any kind, it would technically be very feasable for an RTS like the C&C series to be ported to the NDS, its dual screen could allow for real time action on the main screen, while the menus to build and buy units would be placed on the bottom display. And even bigger rumor is that Petroglpyh, currently working on Star Wars: Empire at War, would be the developer, and if true, Red Alert 2 for DS is scheduled for late 2005.
