Hero Isaac Clarke returns for another heart-pounding adventure, taking the fight to the Necromorphs in this thrilling action-horror experience. New tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac's signature Plasma Cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless necromorph onslaught. Survival isn't the only thing on Isaac's mind in Dead Space 2 - this time, he calls the shots.

Little is known about Visceral's Dead Space 2, but the PR and marketing machine is starting to gear up if the mysterious mailing that showed up Tuesday is any indication.

Given that most press releases tend to come via email these days, you know it is something important when a publisher takes the time to use old fashioned snail mail. And while we didn't get any more screenshots, we did get a copy of Doctor Samara Yasmin's notes on patient 1544C (Isaac). The notes included a section written in code, using the same mysterious glyphs seen in the original Dead Space.

Accompanying Dr. Yasmin's notes was an inkblot which resembled one of the necromorphs from the original game. More interesting than the inkblot however were the additional glyphs that were printed on the page in a nearly clear ink. They only became visible when looking at the page in the right light or when viewing the image on a computer and adjusting the contrast.

We've scanned both paged and posted them up in high resolution here on the site. Take a look and let us know what you think.

Can you unlock the mystery behind Dr. Yasmin's notes?
