Watch Dogs: Legion
Ubisoft Forward started out strong with a showing of the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion, the latest entry in Ubisoft's latest big franchise. You can read more about it in our Watch Dogs: Legion preview, but the Forward showing included Legion's release date: Oct. 29, 2020.

Brawlhalla
Ubisoft's take on the Smash Brothers style of party fighter is now coming to the iOS and Android platforms. It will have customizable controls and interfaces and feature cross-play with other versions of the games. For any Brawlhalla addicts who can't put it down, this should give you another way to enjoy the game.

Hyperscape
Ubisoft is finally getting into the battle royale game genre with Hyperscape. Set in a Ready Player One-style world where people escape into a fantasy internet to avoid the real dystopian world, players engage in games of skill and violence to earn respect and rewards. There's a lot in common with Apex Legends here, with the gameplay footage showing high mobility and a variety of special powers (called "hacks") that you can collect to improve your character's abilities. It also will feature two methods of winning: kill everyone else or collect the crown and hold it for a long enough period of time. It looks to be an interesting entry into the battle royale genre, but you can find out for yourself. Download the open beta of Hyperscape now.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla
You've almost certainly heard of the latest viking-themed take on the Assassin's Creed franchise. We got a long look at its many features including raiding villages, building your own settlement, and huge epic siege battles. Far Cry 6
The last big announcement of the show was Far Cry 6. Unfortunately, this particular reveal was mostly a video of the opening cut scene, but at the very least, it gave a sense of the game's tone. Yara is a war-torn country where a dictator rules over his people with fear and violence. As in most Far Cry titles, the focus was not on the protagonist but on the villain. The dictator, voiced by Giancarlo Esposito, has a conversation with his son, Diego, to explain why he doesn't view himself as a monster but as the man who's preventing Yara from exploding from within. Of course, it ends with the implication that he is going to have his son throw a grenade at the protesters, so that is up for debate. The game will release on Feb. 18, 2021, and we'll certainly see a lot more of it before then.
