The madman Inferno has detonated a devastating bomb in the middle of a major European city to demonstrate the power of his new weaponized incendiary composition: L.V.A. (Liquid Volatile Amonescence).

Paralyzed from fear of more L.V.A. attacks, the world leaders bow to Inferno's will and allow him to build an empire without hindrance.

Furious by the world leader's refusal to retaliate against Inferno, General Bryant resigns and takes matters into his own hands. He recruits a team of military specialists from around the globe and forms the Renegade Ops, with the sole purpose of bringing Inferno to justice.

GENERAL BRYANT
Age: 53
Nationality: USA
Background: General Bryant is the leader of Renegade Ops. He has a long, unblemished career behind him in the US military. In his younger days Bryant carried out extremely sensitive, top secret operations for the government and received numerous medals for his service. Extremely tough and capable, Bryant may appear outwardly to be a hard-bitten cynic who has seen the horrors of war one too many times. However, inwardly, he still hangs on to the belief that there is goodness in people, and has committed his life to protecting those in need. Even if that means going against the rules and cutting through the red tape. Sometimes, with a chainsaw. Aims: Protect those who need protection. Kick the asses of those who need a good ass-kicking.

ARMAND (player character)
Age: 35
Nationality: Benin, Africa
Background: Armand is the definition of large than life. His stature alone is enough to intimidate an entire room of hardened criminals. He used to freelance as bodyguard for the highest bidding crime lords in Benin and soon became one of the most feared personalities in those circles. After losing his family at the hands of Inferno loyalists, Armand seeks Bryant out and joins the Renegade Ops, hell-bent on getting revenge on the man responsible for the deaths of his loved ones.

ROXY (Player character)
Age: 19
Nationality: USA
Background: At first glance, Roxy looks like the average punk-rocker chick with bad attitude. You wouldn't guess she's the daughter of a hard-nosed major in the US Navy. Her mother died shortly after Roxy was born and her father, unwilling to give up his career, took her with him to sea. She has spent her entire life living on various ships and military facilities, and, by the age of 16, had already acquired the equivalent training and skills of a navy seal. On her 19th birthday she left her father to join the Renegade Ops, in search of purpose and adventure. Vehicle: Buggy

DIZ
Age: 28
Nationality: Spanish
Background: Diz is a science prodigy, who by age 17 already had two degrees and a PhD in advanced physics. Recruited into CERN, she was considered a high-flyer who would make significant contributions to the advancement of science. Provided, her superiors hoped, she finally outgrew her taste for extreme sports – especially those involving anything with wheels and a souped-up engine – and apply herself to her work. Pure research bored her, though, especially when she saw how little it had to do with solving the real problems in the world. Her superiors hoped a sabbatical to Bryant's command as scientific advisor to the military might satisfy her. Little did they know it would only encourage her to jump ship and sign up full-time with Renegade Ops ...

GUNNAR

Nationality: Swedish
Background: Cool, calm, methodical. A professional mercenary for hire, whose services are always in high demand. Bryant had come into contact with him on various occasions before, sometimes using his services, sometimes finding Gunnar already working for the opposition. Determined to bring Gunnar over to the side of the angels, Bryant discovered that him and Gunnar shared a common interest; hunting. A few hunting trips and campfire conversations later, and Bryant had Gunnar signed up as part of Renegade Ops. The lure: Gunnar likes hunting big game, the bigger the better. And they don't come much bigger or more challenging than the kind of megalomaniacs and terrorist targets that Bryant has in his sights ...
