8. 'inFamous: Second Son' (PS4)

InFamous: Second Son is the latest installment in the super powered action franchise featuring an all-new protagonist, Delsin Rowe, with all new powers, and set in a new city.

Redmond Carolipio: Sucker Punch is another company that's earned my trust, first with Sly Cooper and then with both installments of inFamous. I'm looking forward to any open-world title designed with the PS4 in mind, but I think this game's depiction of Seattle — really, the visuals overall — will be a sight to behold. The powers of the new protagonist also offer some pretty interesting gameplay possibilities, especially since there are "neon"-based abilities. Call them what you want, but Sucker Punch usually makes it work.

Dustin Chadwell: This is, hands down, the game I'm looking forward to the most for the newest generation of consoles. The last batch of trailers and screens released for Sucker Punch's super-powered action title really put me over the edge, and there's no conceivable reason for me to not pick this up when it launches. This is essentially our first look at what a system-exclusive, open-world game will look like for PS4, and I'm ridiculously excited to see what that entails.

Chris DeAngelus: The original inFamous was one of the first true exclusives for the PlayStation 3 and set the standard for what people could expect from the system. inFamous: Second Son looks to do the same for the PS4. With breathtaking graphics, a new protagonist, and a healthy dose of impressive new powers, inFamous: Second Son may be the first truly next-gen game on the market.

Erik "NekoIncardine" Ottosen: inFamous proved to be among Sony's best creations for the PlayStation 3, with a top-notch, open-world story about the nature of good and evil, combined with enough side objectives and missions to maximize its solid combination of third-person action and third-person shooter gameplay. The sequel cemented the series as a true PS3 signature classic, but the series is now on a new console generation, with a new protagonist and new themes, exploring the surveillance society that's been all over the news lately.
