When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

3. 'Death Stranding' (PS4)

Death Stranding is an open-world action game that follows the story of Sam Porter (Norman Reedus), who must travel across a ravaged wasteland and save humanity from impending annihilation.

Chris "Atom" DeAngelus: Without a doubt, Death Stranding is the weirdest game you'll see on this list. It's a bizarre psychological horror game from Metal Gear visionary Hideo Kojima, and every trailer has been more surreal than the last. Kojima appears to have been given unfettered control to unleash his wildest ideas, and as any Metal Gear fan knows, Kojima's ideas can get awfully wild. It'll be Kojima's chance to prove himself after his spit with Konami, but with some of the greatest games ever made under his belt, he's shown that it's very possible. No matter how the final game turns out, Death Stranding is memorable, to say the least.

Michael Keener: I couldn't decipher the trailer for Death Stranding if I had a team of NASA scientists, a college professor, and a Martian in the same room, but I sure do love what I see. Hideo Kojima probably doesn't even know what his own game is about, but I trust he knows exactly what he's doing. Kojima Productions and CD Projekt Red are arguably top of the line when it comes to blind trust.

Andreas Salmen: All I know is that I know nothing, and of that nothing, I know less than I'd like to know. The setup is great, the gameplay trailers don't make a lick of sense, and it's Kojima trying something other than Metal Gear.

Thomas Wilde: I know I'm going to end up absorbing most of the game anyway via cultural osmosis.
