2. 'Cyberpunk 2077' (PS4/XOne/PC)

Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future — Night City.

Chris "Atom" DeAngelus: Developer CD Projekt Red has been light on details about Cyberpunk 2077, but it's the next game from the developer behind The Witcher 3, which is arguably the best RPG ever made. Unlike the fantasy setting of The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077 is aiming for a near-future cyberpunk setting in the ominously named Night City. It'll be a large, open-world RPG with both single- and multiplayer content, and from everything shown, it'll have the same breathtaking graphical detail we saw in The Witcher 3. There are a ton of expectations for Cyberpunk 2077, but CD Projekt has shown that it can meet those expectations. Now we'll just have to see if Cyberpunk 2077 will have a minigame that's as addictive as Gwent.

Cody Medellin: After so many years, CD Projekt Red is leaving the Witcher world to work on a world that's created from a pen and paper game. Outside of the trailer from a few years ago, that's all we know. Based on the work that CD Projekt Red has done for The Witcher titles, there's nothing but high hopes for the game.

Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: CD Projekt Red is so deeply linked with the fantasy realm of The Witcher franchise that it's almost impossible to predict what would be its take on a cyberpunk future. Cyberpunk 2077 has been teased in one form or another for over five years, and the tabletop game on which it's based has the type of gritty, noir dystopia that gets my attention. With a playable demo possibly coming to this year's E3, it won't be too much longer before we get our first real look at the game.

David Silbert: CD Projekt Red's video game adaptations of Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher series have been critically heralded for over a decade. However, it's the massive open world of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt that catapulted the Polish developer to new heights. Cyberpunk 2077, the studio's next project, marks a bold departure from the equestrian, sword-swinging adventures of Geralt of Rivia. Touted as being even bigger than The Witcher III, Cyberpunk 2077 looks to offer a sci-fi open world with unparalleled scale and detail. Fingers crossed that we get to see more of the ambitious title in 2018.
