Cody Medellin: There's still nothing like the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The dread of exploring an abandoned stretch of land bathed in radioactivity with a dearth of supplies created an experience that many other developers are still chasing today. We've talked about why we're looking forward to this title countless times, and we hope that the ongoing war will finally end so that, among other reasons, no more delays occur and we can finally see the results of a long and labored development cycle.
Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: Some people play Stardew Valley as their comfort game; I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's technically the third(ish) game in the series, and it's been a while since the last release. It doesn't matter; I'm awaiting this game just as much as any of the other big games set to release in 2023. It's all about the beans, bolts, and bloodsuckers.
Andreas Salmen: I have never completed a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, but I love the Metro games that somewhat toe the line of being the next best — and at the time still ongoing — postapocalyptic FPS. The war in Ukraine has undoubtedly cast a long and cruel shadow over the development process, but I'm hoping that the final product will be yet another exceptional example of Ukrainian perseverance during times of unspeakable horror.
