Redmond Carolipio: These were two of my favorite games from my formative gaming years and my first taste of Remedy's oddball sense of dark humor and action. Aside from the pure action that'll come from these games, I'm looking to see what kind of tone gets introduced (or re-introduced) here. I can still hear "Lords and Ladies" playing the background.
Cody Medellin: These games are stone-cold classics but are practically unplayable on modern hardware unless you have an Xbox Series X|S or are willing to do lots of tweaking on a PC. That alone is enough of a reason to want these games remade, but there's also the notion of seeing these games running with the latest engine. Similar to GTA6, however, we're simply hoping this actually releases in 2026, as we haven't seen or heard anything new from this in a while.
Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: The original Max Payne was a massive hit when it was released back in 2001, and Max Payne 2 took its slow-motion formula and took it even further two years later. They still play well enough, but I'm not going to argue with the two games getting a fresh coat of paint; I'm a sucker for bullet time and noir.
