Normally when one hears of "always-on" DRM the discussion is in context of PC gaming. Ubisoft has been particularly notable (or notorious, depending on your point of view) here, implementing the "Internet required" DRM scheme on a number of its titles.

There's been a lot of talk about corporate license agreements lately with both Sony and EA updating their Terms of Service to require arbitration to resolve disputes and prohibit class action lawsuits, but there's another gem buried within the EA/Origin Terms of Service -- the company reserves the right to revoke all your games if you cheat or tell others how to cheat.

Microsoft Pre-E3 2008 Press Briefing Summary

Microsoft's pre-E3 briefing began with a roundup of some of their upcoming triple-A titles, and moved on to discuss their new dashboard and several new functionalities for Xbox Live. If one thing was emphasized over the course of the briefing, it was a renewed focus on cooperative play. Many of the games that were shown were either party games meant for multiple players or otherwise introduced an unexpected cooperative element for an upcoming title.
