SimBin, known for GTR Racing, today unveiled its in-house developed next-gen (X360, PS3, PC) engine, Lizard. The new engine is tailored to handle racing games, but due to its module structure it will allow SimBin to adapt for any type of game, giving them the possibility to expand their portfolio with other genres, for example a First Person Shooter.

The latest issue of Famitsu reveals that Nintendo is working on a new Donkey Kong title for the Wii. Formerly know as DK Bongo Blast and originally scheduled on the GameCube last year, the title mysteriously vanished off release lists, but is now back in a new jacket. Slated for release in Japan on June 28, Donkey Kong Jet Race will feature 16 tracks, and a four-player multiplayer mode, although it was not disclosed if this would be on- or offline play.
