'FlatOut: Total Carnage' (X360) Is 'FlatOut 2' Remake

Last year a London Stock Exchange article revealed BugBear was bringing its destructive racing to X360 under the FlatOut: Total Carnage title, but no details as to whether this was an all new title, or maybe a bundle were available. Earlier today Empire revealed "FlatOut: Total Carnage is a re-imagining of FlatOut 2 rebuilt from the ground up and specifically developed to make use of the additional feature sets and improved processing ability of third generation technologies," and a launch date will be announced in the near future

'Bleach DS 2nd' (NDS) - 12 New Screens

SEGA is releasing the second Bleach episode in Japan mid February, adding new characters to its 2D Fighting game, bringing the total to 40, as well as online multiplayer capabilities for up to 4 players. Bleach DS 2nd also features a scenario by manga guru Tite Kubo.

Xbox 360 Games Boost Burger Sales

Burger King reported higher Q2 earnings, mainly due to the 3.2 million King-themed Xbox 360 games that were sold at its restaurants this past quarter. Net income for Q2 was $38 million, compared with $27 million a year ago.

Sony Income Drops, Ships 1.8 Million PS3 Units

Sony released its 3rd quarter results revealing it has shipped 1.8 million units, and while revenue was up nearly 10%, its overall income dropped 5%. PS2 and PSP hardware sales dropped, and overall software sales also declined, although the sale of PSP titles in particular was up. As a results Sony Games division recorded a $455 million loss, compared to $570 million income last year.
