Contrary to what was said at the Microsoft E3 briefing, Rockstar Games just announced Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in North America on Oct 16, 2007 and in Europe on Oct 19, 2007. Microsoft's Peter Moore, however, did announce episodic content through Xbox Live.

An impressive Gears of War demonstration kicked off the Microsoft E3 briefing, which was followed by Peer Moore formally announcing Fable 2, Forza 2, as well as Tecmo's Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Alan Wake is now being published by Microsoft and will be PC/X360 exclusive. Crysis is not Vista exclusive but will also work on XP. Live Anywhere is an Xbox Live Marketplace clone for PC, including GamerTag features. ShadowRun is unveiled, as well as Halo 3 trailer, both scheduled for 2007.

The Nintendo E3 briefing is in full swing, and the bottom line is that while no specific launch date has been set, Reggie said we'll be playing it Q4 2006, although he said the price will be kept secret for a little while longer.
