Xevicom Unlimited, based on Ray Reid's Xevicom Forever,  is a new chapter in the exciting dystopian future Reid first portrayed in Xevicom Forever in 2005, with new stories, characters, and scenarios that add to and expand the existing narrative.

SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 lets you join forces with like-minded players to tackle an adventure of realistic military action, tactics and teamwork wherever and whenever you want. Originally scheduled for Nov. 24, SCEA has pushed the release into 2010 in order to give the marketing team more time.

Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing saga with an unprecedented level of action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. WalMart will be ready at midnight on Nov. 10 in 2,600 of its 24-hour stores, with the first 20 customers at those locations getting an autographed game cover signed by Infinity Ward. A $20 eGift Card pre-order offer is available online, and a bonus $20 Walmart.com eGift Card, one per customer, is available with pre-order while supplies last. In the meantime, Walmart has a series of video vignettes and new advertising for TV and online -- including behind the scenes spots with Nick and Steve, those avid gamers from Walmart commercials past.

I know I've said it before, but wow, there sure are a lot of games coming out at the moment, and next month will be a real doozy with the likes of Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2 and plenty of others. The ramp-up to the holiday season is always a good time to be a gamer.

One more day and it's the weekend again! Time sure flew by this week ... well, for me anyhow.

We have plans to hang out with some friends, but we also plan to check out Paranormal Activity and/or Boondock Saints II. We're especially looking forward to the latter; the sequel's been 10 years in the making, but we loved the first one, so this had better not disappoint.

Ah yes, and Friday means that it's Stargate Universe time!

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with Inferno Pool, Hasbro Family Game Night, demos for Ratchet And Clank Future: A Crack In Time (Ratchet demo), Fat Princess, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, DLCs for PAIN, Trivial Pursuit, DJ Hero, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band (Unplugged); and the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes, downloadable PSP games (Zombie Tycoon, Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam, LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival, NBA 2K10, Darkstalkers Chronicles: The Chaos Tower).

L4D2 promises to set a new benchmark for cooperative action games, adding melee combat to enable deeper cooperative gameplay, with items such as a chainsaw, frying pan, axe, baseball bat, and more. Football Manager 2010 features new tools and changes across the board including some big additions to improve ease of use, navigation and feedback from the game with the introduction of a brand new match tactics system, the debut of a Match Analysis tool, a completely new look and new User Interface among other features.
