Our trip to the movies to see "Surrogates" has been postponed until tomorrow, which gave us some time to watch stuff on the DVR. We caught up on Supernatural, Flashforward, Bones and The Amazing Race, which is like the old La Chasse au trésor that I used to watch when I was a kid.

Aside from the movie plans, we have nothing else on tomorrow's schedule, so we'll probably do some more watching (a few episodes of Heroes), groceries, laundry and perhaps squeeze in a few games (Republic Heroes and Operation Flashpoint).

Mafia II immerses players in the mob underworld of a fictitious late 1940s-early 1950s scenario by fusing high-octane gunplay with white-knuckle driving and an engaging narrative. Players will easily become engaged in the game's cinematic Hollywood movie experience with strong, believable characters in a living, breathing city.

Torchlight is an adventure-themed action-MMORPG which emphasizes a simple and intuitive interface, fast and furious action, and a colorful and compelling game world. Runic Games revealed in a recent interview that it would like to bring Torchlight to Xbox Live Arcade somewhere down the line.

EVE Online is an MMO game set in a world of galactic proportions, governed by a hyper-capitalistic economy where space flight is the path to all commerce, communication, and conflict. This 11th free expansion overhauls the current sovereignty mechanics, adding some new epic arcs for pirate factions, integrating a social networking platform known as COSMOS, setting CCP artists free to re-beautify planets and more.

Sin & Punishment: Star Successor is taking adrenaline-soaked adventure to inspiring new heights. Packed with nonstop arcade-style thrills, intense boss battles and precision pointer controls, the game challenges players to rack up high scores as they fend off waves of enemies in a stylish post-apocalyptic world.

Capsized is a physics based action game from indie developer Alien Trap, known for the free to play FPS Nexuiz, scheduled for PC and Xbox Live Arcade on 2010.

Ahh weekend, my favorite time of the week. Time to actually sleep and watch even more TV. We'll probably check out Bruce Willis' "Surrogates," which looks interesting.

This week and next week, quite a few big titles are shipping, and judging from all the press events marked on my calendar it's safe to say that the ramp-up to the holidays has begun, and plenty of titles are coming. Another 4 events this week. Luckily all of them are local, and no, we're not flying out to Italy to check out Assassin's Creed II.

And now for the shameless plug. It was good to hear that Vogster is taking care of business and going to release a limited free-to-play version of CrimeCraft. Love playing the game, but it sure could use some more people in it. While you can trigger PvE instances, the PvP is a big part of the game so new recruits are more than welcome. Hopefully, this will also bring down the prices in the auction house (rare items are being sold for outrageous amounts of money). You all better check it out later this month. You have no excuse not to. :)
