Industry veteran Louis Castle, former EA and Westwood exec, has joined IAC's InstantAction as its new CEO. Under his leadership, they will pursue an expanded business strategy that will build upon the vision of web-based games publishing and more effectively connect developers to consumers while creating all-new IP across multiple gaming platforms and genres.

WW2: Time of Wrath is a turn-based grand strategy title, an improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, that puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of WWII. Players can participate in some of the most famous battles piloting fighters, battle planes and heavy bombers across a range of 50+ missions.

Swedish developer GRIN has been around for over a decade, founded in 1997, but it was not until 2006's PC edition of Ubisoft's GRAW that it became widely known. Shortly thereafter, it grew rapidly, opening offices in Barcelona and Gothenburg, to deal with a slew of high-profile titles (Bionic Commando, Wanted, Terminator) in development. However, sales on all of them were disappointing, and earlier this year GRIN closed all but its main office in Stockholm, which is now also rumored to be in trouble, with employees being asked to not come to work. Oddly enough, earlier today, one of its subsidiaries announced a new title.
