Space Invaders Get Even is an upcoming video game by Taito originally intended as a retail release, but will now be released as a downloadable WiiWare game. Space Invaders Get Even puts a twist on the formula by letting the player control the space invaders themselves.

Keeping the beat with over 40 songs on a Samba-inspired sound track, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas and compete with friends to see who has the best moves. Samba De Amigo will be the first Wii title to get downloadable content when it releases mid Sept.

GameStop's Q2 2008 financial result reveals that the retailer made a killing, with total sales increase 35%, store sales up 20%, making its net earnings increase 162%.
