Activision announced that it has acquired U.K.-based video game developer Bizarre Creations, known for the Project Gotham Racing franchise, a $1.4 billion market that is the fourth most popular video game genre and represents more than 10% of the total video game market worldwide.

MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries. In his latest podcast Kojima Productions revealed that starting today it is developing the English Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots demo, although no time frame for its release was mentioned.
