Ahh weekend, my favorite time of the week. Time to actually sleep and watch even more TV. We'll probably check out Bruce Willis' "Surrogates," which looks interesting.
This week and next week, quite a few big titles are shipping, and judging from all the press events marked on my calendar it's safe to say that the ramp-up to the holidays has begun, and plenty of titles are coming. Another 4 events this week. Luckily all of them are local, and no, we're
not flying out to Italy to check out Assassin's Creed II.
And now for the shameless plug. It was good to hear that Vogster is
taking care of business and going to release a limited free-to-play version of
CrimeCraft. Love playing the game, but it sure could use some more people in it. While you can trigger PvE instances, the PvP is a big part of the game so new recruits are more than welcome. Hopefully, this will also bring down the prices in the auction house (rare items are being sold for outrageous amounts of money). You all better check it out later this month. You have no excuse not to. :)

In a vast open world environment, Assassin's Creed II invites players to incarnate Ezio, a privileged young noble in Renaissance Italy who's been betrayed by the rival ruling families of Italy, and seeking vengeance. Whether it's sending a $200 check, firing people for bad review scores, giving exclusives in return for a good score, or offering swanky "goodies," all sorts of questionable tactics are being used to sway writers into giving favorable reviews, so is sending people on a 10-day overseas trip to Italy going too far?
