Greece Is The Word For Championship Manager Debut

by Rainier on Oct. 1, 2001 @ 6:11 p.m. PDT

Championship Manager: Season 01/02 will be advertised on the perimeter boards at the forthcoming England World Cup Qualifier. Eidos Interactive has announced that their perimeter boards at the England Greece World Cup Qualifier on October 6th will not bear their usual corporate logo, but will instead advertise Championship Manager for the very first time.
Championship Manager: Season 01/02 is the latest instalment in the hugely popular Championship Manager series, due for release on October 12th. Eidos has three perimeter sites, and all will be advertising Championship Manager: Season 01/02.

Jonathan Rosenblatt, Marketing Manager at Eidos Interactive said, “The millions of people who will be watching the game on Saturday are all potential Championship Manager fans. It makes perfect sense to replace Eidos on the perimeter boards with Championship Manager: Season 01/02 just six days before the game’s release.”

Miles Jacobson, Managing Director of Sports Interactive commented, “All at Sports Interactive are really pleased that Eidos has decided to promote Championship Manager: Season 01/02 at the England versus Greece game, it makes perfect sense. We will all be watching the match anyway, but seeing the Champ Man logo emblazoned across our television screens will give us something exciting to look at even if England isn’t winning.”

Eidos Interactive is the official interactive partner of team England.

For those that cannot wait until October 12th for the release of Championship Manager: Season 01/02, a demo is available for download from HERE.
