Disney Interactive Appoints EA For PC Distribution.

Disney Interactive is pleased to announce that it has appointed gaming giant Electronic Arts as distributor of three forthcoming PC titles.
EA will begin work immediately, working closely with Disney Interactive on the launch of the two Atlantis titles, Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire Trial By Fire Action Game and Disney’s Atlantis The Lost Empire Activity Centre. These titles will be released in the UK and Republic of Ireland on 19 October in conjunction with the release of Walt Disney Picture’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Also scheduled for October release is Disney’s The Snow White Princess Collection, a Princess-focused double pack to tie in with the re-release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on video and DVD. EA will also distribute these titles in Spain and export territories in Central Europe and the Middle East.

Thierry Braille, Vice President & Managing Director, Europe Middle East & Africa, believes that the deal will further strengthen Disney Interactive’s position as leading publisher of children’s software, “Disney Interactive’s properties and brands have a unique strength in the industry across all formats.
