ATI Supports 'New World Order'

by Rainier on Dec. 3, 2001 @ 1:11 p.m. PST

"We are very happy to announce that ATI is giving this game its full focus and is working with us very closely to ensure ATI users have the best gaming experience possible. We are very grateful for their efforts to make the game even better," says Project 3 CEO Robert Ercevic.

New World Order, developed by TERMITE GAMES in Sweden, and set for release March 2001 is a tactical shooter with a storyline involving terrorist factions and opposing military assault teams - without being controversial. The game uses the incredible DVA-engine, which enables unprecedented features like an infinite number of per-pixel lightsources, shadows and realtime calculated physics, all at an incredible framerate.

"We are excited to be working with Project Three Interactive on their New World Order game," said Jewelle Schiedel-Webb, Director, Desktop Marketing, ATI Technologies. "New World Order will take advantage of ATI's DirectX 8.1-compliant SMARTSHADER technology found in the RADEON 8500, both enhancing the game and bringing gamers' visual experience to a whole new level."

Termite Games Jim Malmros added: "We're very happy to have ATI dedicated to supporting us, making sure that NWO runs flawlessly and smooth on their hardware. We've had zero problems with any ATI card and while the game is already running blazingly fast, we're looking forward to further improvements. ATI's latest hardware enables us to max out all the features of the DVA engine and set a new standard in visual quality and technical excellence. Playing NWO on ATI's newest hardware puts a big smile on my face - seeing the game of my dreams without having to close my eyes... Besides the raw speed the image quality is just amazing.
