Continuing the successful tradition of the hit game X-Men®: Mutant Academy for the PlayStation® game console, X-Men®: Mutant Academy 2 allows players to train and fight as even more of their favourite mutants and secret characters. Learn more about the game and enjoy the fresh screenshots ...

The title features a state-of-the-art fighting game engine and lets players battle it out with more mutant moves, six new characters and six all-new arenas – taking on opponents in both single and multiplayer bouts.

Features

  • Fight as the X-Men – players face arena-based fighting mayhem with six new X-men characters in all their 3D glory, including Rogue, Forge, Nightcrawler and Havok – plus two secret characters to unlock. You can also go to battle as Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit, Storm, Beast, Phoenix, Mystique, Toad, Magneto and Sabretooth. Each character has their won unique signature mutant powers, abilities and moves, enhanced by special effects like amazing aerial combat and hard hitting recoils. A new “get up quick” feature keeps the action moving.
  • Dominate in Six New Arenas – Gamers go fist to fist in classic comic book locales, plus six all-new arenas: the X-Mansion, an eerily lit church, Muir Island, the site of an X-men base, Asteroid M (Magneto’s Stage), plus two secret areas players earn the right to unlock as they progress through the game.
  • The Total X-Men Experience – X-Men®: Mutant Academy 2 features a unique Cerebro mode that lets players check out amazing assets from “X-Men: The Movie.” Players get an authentic behind-the-scenes look as they browse through conceptual character sketches, costume designs and movie set sketches.
  • Four Ways to Rumble – Gamers enjoy four different modes of play: Academy training, Arcade, Survival and Versus (classic two-player fighter mode). In Academy mode, Professor X teaches fighters how to hone mutant power to become a member of the X-Men. Then he preps them to take on the challenges of the Arcade, Survival and Versus modes.
